Terms of Service
Winline Technology LLC is an independent service provider (California License #19111730, Los Gatos, CA). We repair household appliances as an independent service company.
These Terms form a legal contract between you and Winline Technology LLC. They apply when you use our website, services, and content. Please read them carefully. They include an arbitration provision and class action waiver. If you do not agree, do not use the content. We may revise these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.
Purchases and Payments
By scheduling or allowing our technician to start work, you agree to pay: any unpaid balance upon completion, maximum interest allowed by law, a $30 fee if your check or card is not honored, handling charges for untimely cancellation, and collection costs including attorney’s fees. Payment is due on provision of service unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation of Service
We reserve the right to charge 100% of the service call amount for any appointment missed, canceled, or changed without at least 8 hours’ notice (or as otherwise agreed). You agree to pay shipping, handling, and nonreturnable parts costs when applicable.
Service Call (Diagnostic)
The appliance must be installed and accessible. The Service Call fee includes the trip, initial inspection, diagnosis, and written estimate. It is not refundable; if you approve the repair, it is included in the total repair cost. Technicians cannot change agreed charges; they may add charges for additional work or if access is not provided. If the issue cannot be duplicated or no problem is found, you are responsible for the service call fee. Intermittent problems may not be diagnosable; you remain responsible for the fee. For service more than 50 miles from our office, an additional trip fee may apply.
Multiple Appliances
For multiple appliances, a discounted Service Call fee per additional appliance may apply at our discretion. Technicians cannot inspect or “look at” any appliance without documenting it and charging the appropriate Service Call fee.
Repair
Estimates are not hourly-based; they reflect complexity, risk, tools, and other factors. Technicians cannot change agreed charges; they may add charges for additional services or access issues.
Warranty
Repair warranty (30–180 days depending on parts) applies to the repaired issue and manufacturer part failure. Warranty is void if additional work is done by others, damage by a third party, or if you choose not to repair as diagnosed. No warranty against other problems on the same unit or incidental damages. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 30–180 days). Repair charges apply after the warranty period or if void.
Intermittent Conditions
There is no labor warranty on units with intermittent problems.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of business, revenues, or goodwill), or for damages exceeding the amounts you paid in the six months before the claim or $10, whichever applies. These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
COI
We carry insurance (COI) of $1,000,000. Costs associated with covered risks may be covered under this COI.
Damage Waivers
By allowing our technician to start work, you accept our waivers. Moving appliance: You accept the risk of damage to the unit, flooring, cabinetry, or countertops and hold the technician and us faultless. Lifting glass cooktop: You accept the risk of breakage and hold us harmless. Electronic components / power surges: Warranty does not apply to failures caused by power surges or unstable supply; we recommend a surge protector. Manufacturer / extended warranty work: You confirm that you will pay for the repair and seek reimbursement from the manufacturer or warranty provider; you remain personally responsible if they do not pay.
License and Use
You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use our content for personal use. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or use the content for unlawful purposes, data mining, or to train AI systems. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws.
Account and Communications
If you register, keep credentials confidential. We may send electronic communications; they constitute valid legal notice. Your electronic actions (clicks, submissions) constitute your signature and agreement.
Submissions and Payment
You grant us a royalty-free license to use submissions. Purchases are final; no refunds except as stated or required by law. You authorize charges to your payment method and are responsible for taxes and account security.
